Michael Chopp, PhD – Chairman
Dr Michael Chopp is a Professor and Vice Chair of the department of Neurology at the Henry Ford Hospital. He has an extensive career in the basic research of brain ischemia and is considered a world expert on animal models of stroke and other neurological conditions. He has and continues to be a consultant to the pharmaceutical and Biotech industries in the evaluation of drugs for neurological ischemia.

Justin Zivin, MD, PhD
Dr. Zivin is Professor of Neurosciences and Vice Chairman of the Department of Neurology at the University of California, San Diego. He is a member of the editorial boards of Experimental Neurology, Neurology and Stroke, Journal of Stroke and Cerebrovascular Disease and Journal of Neurovascular Disease. Dr Zivin is a recognized expert in clinical design of research trials for all neurological conditions, especially stroke. He is a consultant to and has run numerous stroke clinical trials for the pharmaceutical industry.

Bruce Coull, MD
Dr. Coull is Professor of Neurology and Director of the Comprehensive Stroke Center at the University of Arizona in Tucson. He holds the William M. Feinberg MD Endowed Chair in Stroke Research and is a widely published author in the areas of clinical and basic science stroke research. He has extensive expertise in clinical research studies and stroke clinical trial design.

Sean Orr, MD
Dr. Orr is a stroke- fellowship trained neurologist practicing in Jacksonville, Florida. He is Director of the Comprehensive Stroke Center at Baptist Medical Center. He has extensive experience in directing neurology clinical trials, particularly in stroke.
